Tel: 06-2814848

If you would like to have a taste of authentic Nyonya cuisine, head for Seroni restaurant located at 60, 62 Tama Melaka Raya 25, 75200 Melaka. Tucked in a side of Taman Melaka Raya, far from the busy traffic, a quiet place to enjoy your mean, Seroni is definitely more than your usual neighborhood’s hangout restaurant. Decorated cozily with some penchant for the modern antique, the aromatic smell from the Nyonya Cuisine adorn the restaurant when you entered the air-conditioned restaurant to cool you down from the hot weather. Savour your favourite nyonya cuisine at the homely restaurant as the waiter serves you with a friendly smile.

The Food
The food ranged from hot to cold, spicy to non spicy. Be prepared to be mesmerized by the redolence of the dishes. Let’s start off with the appetizer.

Fish Otah
Why not order the fish otah? It is served in a small serving and if you like to have more, you could order for another serving too.

Udang Masak Nenas(Prawns With Pineapple In Coconut Sauce)
It is suitable for people who doesn’t eat extreme spicy food. The curry was not too spicy and the prawns was very refreshing .The sourness seeped into each prawn that made it real tasty, with the combination of the rice, it was a perfect match.

Crispy Chicken Wings
For people who love to eat spicy food, I would strongly recommend this dish to you as it is hot, spicy and crispy. It teases the senses with a fragrant spicy taste.

Chendol
To cap off the meal, a small bowl of Cendol, a popular Malay dessert and snack made up of shaved ice, coconut milk, grass jelly and beans. It was just perfect to wash down the strong flavors of the foods and for cooling us down as well. It cleanses the palate with a delighting sweetness lingering at the back of the throat.

Other dishes include the Chap Chye (Nyonya Mixed Vegetables), Fried Squid etc.
